Meh. Only seven hundred words tonight. I could do more, except I have to get up early tomorrow, so caffeinating myself as per my usual procedure would be a bad idea. :-/

On the bright side, it turns out that The Bourne Supremacy was a heck of a lot better than I'd expected. I thought it was almost as good as the original; the only low point was that it felt like they reused about half the music from Identity. I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't like the original's music as much as I do, though....

And also, it turns out that I won't have to work Saturday like I'd thought I would, so that should give me lots of time to write. I know I need to go back through and expand a couple of things, like background; while I'm working with preexisting characters (this is for SNW), I need to work in details of exactly how my thorough screwing of T'Rul occurred. :)

"almost as good as the original"?

You might want to re-watch it. I did, and....

I rented the first one last weekend because Supremacy came out. Our theory is, the original script was intended to end in his Paris apartment, but they started filming and decided it was too short. So they had to come up with the rest of the movie on the spot, starting from when the assassin jumps out the window.

The fights are all over-rehearsed and fake looking. The soundtrack must've been mixed on a Chevette's tape deck. They gave away the entire conspiracy in the first ten minutes.

The only good thing about the movie is that it's funny! (Remember the "Leslie Nielsen" stunt where Bourne rides the body down the stairwell?)

Well, maybe. I'll rewatch it this weekend (I've been meaning to anyways, since I haven't listened to the commentary) and say more then.

For the most part, yes, at least with regards to looking fake (though over-rehersal would certainly cause that). I'm not sure if I feel differently about the first one or two because they are different, or because they're over so fast that it's hard to tell.

Yep. :D Funny, but also one of the more jarring parts, simply because it's so unbelievable. Second only to the consulate exterior....
