Chapter length

Is there any general guidelines as to chapter length? Because so far chapters 1 and 2 are both less than 2k words, while chapter 3 is over 4k. It just seems odd....

Not at all. Some authors write super short chapters, some don't use them at all.

I wouldn't even worry about chapter breaks until you're gotten the story down, and can go back and review how the narrative flows, shift any scenes that need shifting, and determine where any breaks are, or should be.

That makes sense. I guess that it just seems that I'm running through plot points faster than I'd expected (I tend to break them down by chapter), so it seemed like I might have problems. *shrug*
