Moved into the apartment. Haven't built the desk yet—the power screwdriver was left at home, so that'll hopefully happen tomorrow. So for now the computer lives on the floor.

Hopefully the teachers will resolve their contract negotiations and end the strike tonight.

Scratch that. Hopefully they won't.

So... yeah. I just managed to not only show up forty minutes late for an exam (thinking that it started a half-hour later than it did, and also managing to miss a bus), but I also finished with it twenty minutes early.

*sigh* Now, if only I did as well in my other classes as I think I did on this—very much not a sure, or even confident, thing—I'll be fine. It's the not-fine case that's on my mind. :(

From my Data Structures and Algorithms professor:

"Integrating your code with someone else's, when you know your code doesn't work and your buddy's probably doesn't either, is a bitch."

Snurched from [livejournal.com profile] kradical:

You're Tigger. Playful and fun-loving, you enjoy
hanging out with friends even though you don't
always have to be the center of attention.
You're never pessimistic or sluggish. Your

over-the-top. You're the quintessential

Unlike him (and the others on my friends list who took it), my result is a surprise. Since asides from the "enjoy hanging out with friends" part, I'm pretty much the complete opposite. :)

And now, back to slaving away at my EECS281 project I thought was due Friday, but is actually due at midnight tomorrow—well, today at this point. When procrastinating, it helps to have the right target date in mind....

You know it's too <bleep>ing early when you forgot to check whether the pop you grabbed on the way to class was caffeinated. *sigh*

Apparently my mastery of procrastination has slipped over the summer. :(

At least I have most of what I need to do tomorrow done, and the last bit isn't due until 6 PM. Though I may end up skipping the lecture for EECS 281 to do that last bit, since a) it's big, and b) I can justify it since it's for 281. :)

Lesson learned: at least for 281, don't do this again. (It's worked out fairly well for Calc III so far—then again, we go over it in class and can fix things (think Serri's class, for those from Churchill), so I don't have to worry too much about the correctness, and more about having fudgeable work. ^_^)
